Our high quality gold metallic braids are available by the yard! Same braid is used on both Confederate Officer sleeves and caps. Two styles are available- 1/8" Soutache Braid and 1/8" Extra Rich FLAT Braid.
The soutache is the standard braid on our sleeves and caps. Both are authentic for the period. The Extra Rich FLAT Braid shines more as it reflects the light better.
The Extra Rich FLAT braid may be substituted in place of the Soutache braid on our uniforms at additional charge. See the Confederate Officer's individual pages for details.
