#604- Civil War era M-1851 US ENLISTED FOOT GREATCOAT (worn by Infantry, Heavy Artillery, Hospital Stewards and Engineers)- The Foot style Greatcoat is single breasted with a standing collar and has an elbow length cape. Our coat is made of quality 21 ounce Sky Blue field service wool with a heavy cotton twill body lining that extends below the waist.  An optional wool lining is available at extra cost in custom order coats- please allow 6 week delivery.

  Standard features include cuffs that can be turned down, split back seam, two-piece belt have two buttonholes and one button for waist adjustment. The hem is left raw as per originals. Five button front, and 6-button cape, US General Service buttons are supplied but not sewn on.  Rank Chevrons, if used, were placed on the sleeves just above the top of the cuffs. Made in the USA!

PLEASE NOTE:  Our address is the address to our factory, we do not have a storefront staffed by sales persons. We are all cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to sew, but they are not trained in sales.

If you would like to visit, we are happy to accommodate, but PLEASE! call us 3 to 4 days in advance to schedule an appointment.

This will help us give you the attention and service that you deserve. Walk-in customers are sometimes disappointed after a long drive.
