M-1861 US ENLISTED FROCKCOAT -
Made using our quality Dark Blue field service wool. Standard
skirt length on our coat is about 3/4 of the distance from hip to knee. You may cut it shorter if you desire, as the hem is left raw
per originals. The 1861 collar is 1-3/4" high with a slight round
at the front. Correct colored piping is used on the collar and cuff "V".
No piping on the cuff vent.
The coat body is lined with natural muslin to the waist, with an
inside left breast pocket and two pockets in the folds of the skirt. All
frockcoats have the 9 button front with sleeves having
functional cuffs closing with two small buttons. US General Service
Eagle buttons are supplied with the
uniform but not sewn on. Musician's
front lace available on Artillery and Infantry coats only.
This coat is the regulation
dress coat for troops on foot- Infantry, Heavy Artillery, Engineers,
Hospital Stewards and Ordnance Dept. See Branch of Service choice box

have a storefront staffed by sales persons. We are all
cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to
sew, but they are not trained in sales.
