#503 New York State Militia Jacket- The State of New York Uniform Board choose to issue New York troops a special uniform
rather than the standard US Government issue clothing. The result was a
very distinct looking jacket- two versions are shown at left.
The jacket is lined with Brown cotton, the sleeves are
lined with natural cotton. Imported New
York State seal buttons are supplied. If
the exterior slit pocket is ordered, it is located at the fifth button down, on
either side you wish. Tube
style sleeves without trim is standard- see far left jacket.
