CONFEDERATE OFFICER COLLAR BADGES-  These extra rich rank insignia badges are made from high quality gold bullion wire. The wool backgrounds match our trim color wools. They can be purchased separately on this page (or if ordering a uniform coat, sewn on the collar at time of order. See the Confederate Officer's individual uniform Webpages for details).   Please specify background color you wish when ordering.   

General’s collar badges are available with either Buff (off white) or Black colored background only.   Buff was the Regulation trim color for Confederate Generals.

#1850- CONF OFFICER DELUXE GOLD BRAIDS- Our high quality gold metallic braids are available by the yard!  Same braid is used on both Confederate Officer sleeves and caps.  Two styles are available-  1/8" Soutache and 1/8" Extra Rich FLAT Braid. The soutache is the standard braid on our Confederate Officer sleeves and caps.

Both are authentic for the period.  The Extra Rich FLAT braid is a little more shiny since it reflects the light better.  Sorry, we do not offer a diagram or instructions of how to sew this on a sleeve.  Normally it takes about 4 yards for one row on both sleeves in the standard loop pattern.
Braid Price starts at $5.00 per yard for Soutache Braid.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our address is the address to our factory, we do not have a storefront staffed by sales persons. We are all cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to sew, but they are not trained in sales.

If you would like to visit, we are happy to accommodate, but PLEASE! call us 3 to 4 days in advance to schedule an appointment.

This will help us give you the attention and service that you deserve. Walk-in customers are sometimes disappointed after a long drive.
