Captain of Cavalry Dress Frockcoat shown with
optional shoulder knots
#7270M-1872 JUNIOR OFFICER’S DRESSCOAT-
as worn by Captain's, First Lieutenants and Second Lieutenants is
made with our 16 ounce deluxe officer’s dark blue wool and deluxe polished cotton black
lining. This frockcoat is double breasted with a 14 button front.Per US Army Regulations, the
sleeves have two strips of 3/8” gold lace with buttons and 3 buttons
close the functional cuffs.
Shoulder Knots were used in the Full Dress Version
while Shoulder Boards were used in the "Undress" version.
Basic Coat is priced without Shoulder Knots or Shoulder Boards.Made in the USA!
Shoulder Knots were by far the most common rank designation used on
this frockcoat. We have In Stock most ranks of Knots
used by the 7th Cavalry. Other Cavalry Regiments and/or
branches of service may be custom ordered- please allow 10 week delivery for custom knots.
Staff and Medical Officer knots have their appropriate designation and are
without the Regimental Number.
All 1872 Officer coats are
custom made for each order. Because custom orders are not returnable, please go to the measurements
page and submit your measurements when you order.

EST, or 24 hours a day by fax. (It will help us serve you better if you
take the time to fill out the measurement chart prior to calling.)
PLEASE NOTE: Our address is the address to our factory, we do not
have a storefront staffed by sales persons. We are all
cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to
sew, but they are not trained in sales.

to 4 days in advance to schedule an appointment.

give you the attention and service that you deserve. Walk-in
customers are sometimes disappointed after a long drive.
